Suzanne
Francis-Brown has segued from journalist and
lecturer in media and communication to historian and museum curator. She drew
on connected skills to recover knowledge on various populations held in camps
in Jamaica during World War II. Published works include Mona, Past and Present: The History and Heritage of the Mona Campus, University of the West
Indies (2004), the co-authored The Old Iron Bridge, Spanish Town, Jamaica, (2005), as
well as several works of youth fiction.
