Four UWI Press Books Recognized

The University of the West Indies Press is pleased to announce that four UWI Press books were selected to be included in the University Press Books for Public and Secondary School Libraries Bibliography. This is a specialized development tool and inclusion is based on a rigorous review process. A joint committee of librarians and reference users evaluate all books. The bibliography highlights the best of titles in specialized or emerging scholarship and the creative arts. The following four titles were selected for this prestigious list:

Olive Senior, Dying to Better Themselves: West Indians and the Building of the Panama Canal

Erna Brodber, Nothing’s Mat

Barbara Lalla, Uncle Brother

Gail Porter Mandell, Angel Creek: Where the River Meets the Sea
