Instead of a traditional book launch for The Jamaican Theatre: Highlights of the Performing Arts in the Twentieth Century by Wycliffe Bennett and Hazel Bennett, the Press arranged for theatrical readings, dance, and performances by notable Jamaican individuals and groups, including Professor Edward Baugh, Fae Ellington, Oliver Samuels, Ruth Ho Shing, Paula-Ann Porter Jones, Alwyn Scott, Munair Zaca, LTM Pantomime Company and The National Dance Theatre Company, The Pembroke Hall Primary Folk Choir and The Wolmer’s Dance Troupe.
